How we photograph

Everything that goes into your portrait.

How a session runs from first message to final gallery, our two studio sets, the tools we work with, and the answers to the questions clients ask most.

How a session works.

01 — Plan

Consult

04 — Deliver

Retouch

Your selected images are hand-retouched and delivered in a private online gallery.

Our sets

Two sets. Two moods.

Every session is shot on one of our two studio sets. Pick the one that matches how you want the portrait to feel, or ask us and we will help you choose.

Set 01

The White Studio

No glitz, no glamour. A clean white seamless backdrop and shaped light keep every bit of attention on you: your face, your posture, your expression.

Best for: Headshots, families, milestones, anyone who wants a timeless portrait.

Set 02

The Canvas Backdrop

A hand-textured canvas with depth and tone gives the portrait a painterly, fine-art feel, closer to an oil painting than a photo booth.

Best for: Statement portraits, wall art, couples, creative branding.

FAQ

Before you book.

Which set should I choose?

Choose the White Studio for a clean, timeless portrait that is all about you. Choose the Canvas Backdrop for a painterly, fine-art look. Not sure? Book a free consultation and we’ll help you decide.

Ask when you book and we’ll tell you what fits your session length.

Most clients say this. Being comfortable on camera is a skill we coach during the session, with posing and expression guidance from the first frame to the last.

You’ll get wardrobe guidance after booking. Solid colours and well-fitted pieces photograph best; we’ll help you plan each look.
