Who we are

Avery Creative Studio (“we,” “us”) is a portrait photography studio at 2147 S Lumber St, Chicago, IL. This policy explains what information we collect through averycreativestudio.com, our online booking, and our client galleries, and how we use it. Questions? Email Jordan@averycreativestudio.com.

Information we collect

• Information you give us: your name, email, phone number and message when you contact us, and the details you enter when you book a session (such as session type, date, number of people and any intake questions).
• Payment information: payments are processed by our booking and gallery providers and their payment processors. We do not store full card numbers.
• Photos: the images we create during your session, stored in a private online gallery.
• Print orders: your shipping address and order details when you buy prints or products.
• Website usage: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived at our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors use our site, and the Meta Pixel to measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram advertising and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. Our booking scheduler may also report completed bookings to these services so we can see which ads lead to appointments. These tools use cookies and may collect information such as your IP address and browsing activity on our site.

You can limit this tracking by adjusting your browser’s cookie settings, using Google’s Analytics opt-out, and managing your Facebook ad preferences or Google ad settings.

How we use your information

• To schedule, prepare for and deliver your session, gallery and orders
• To respond to your questions and send appointment confirmations and reminders
• To process payments and fulfill print orders
• To improve our website and measure our advertising
• To send occasional studio news or offers if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the studio, such as our scheduling platform (Acuity Scheduling), our client gallery and print store (Pic-Time) and its professional print labs, payment processors, email providers, and the analytics and advertising services described above. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Your photos

Your gallery is private and shared only through the link we send you. We use session images in our portfolio, website or marketing only as described in your session agreement or with your permission. If you would prefer we not share an image, just let us know.

How long we keep information

We keep booking and order records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet tax and legal requirements. Gallery storage periods are listed in your session details.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information online. Photos of minors are created only with a parent or guardian’s booking and consent.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop marketing emails, by emailing Jordan@averycreativestudio.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
